Espace 2 has installed its microphones, the concert is broadcasted live on l'Heure musicale. In the hall, the pianist Nikita Magaloff has come from Château-d'Oex in a Vespa 400. How did he manage to get into this tiny car and, above all, how did he get out of it?

Le Quatuor n’a donné ensuite qu’un seul concert puis s’est dissous.

The English chapel has no dressing rooms. After the rehearsal, the musicians change in the hall. The photographer enters just as the musicians are bare-chested. The pianist quickly puts on his bow tie and settles at the piano. The moment is immortalized!

After-concert at the Lugrin's, as usual. Thierry Waelli's spaghetti is excellent. Electricity failure! We light a candle. Paul Coker rushes to the old Steinway and plays ... the Moonlight Sonata!

The English chapel is crowded; the members of the trio are settled. We can hear noises coming from the ice rink. The musicians are waiting and Raphaël Oleg announces: - I would still like to know who is going to score the goal!

Quelques concerts précédents, une autre pianiste râle (c’est très rare à MN !), le piano ne va pas et il est mal accordé. Le fournisseur de l’instrument nous avait préalablement avertis. Elle est entrée avec une horrible robe rouge et elle a très mal joué. En revanche, Mihaela, quelques pointures en-dessus, demande, à la fin de sa répétition, s’il y a un endroit où elle peut se retirer.

Ce soir, dernier concert de la tournée européenne. Les Ladies of Song sont accueillies à Aigle par des membres du comité. Le wagon-salon «Chez Rose» est déjà monté préalablement aux Diablerets ; les TPC veulent être certains qu’il y fera assez chaud. Que d’égards ! Une collation est servie à ces dames par un juge de paix et un juge à la Cour des droits de l’homme. S’en sont-elles rendues compte ? Il a neigé toute la nuit, maintenant le ciel est bleu, quel spectacle !

Cela vaut bien une exposition, d’autant plus que tant l’auteur Charles-Ferdinand Ramuz que le compositeur Igor Stravinski ont séjourné aux Diablerets ; ce dernier y a d’ailleurs composé sur l’établi du menuisier qui lui louait le chalet.

Pour l’exposition, il fallait rencontrer la fille de Ramuz. Rendez-vous est pris ; elle reçoit en jeans, du rouge aux lèvres. Toutes les dames de nonante ans ne sont pas aussi coquettes !

Quelle découverte. On a le sentiment que l’auteur de notre Histoire vient de sortir fumer une cigarette et qu’il va réapparaître. Non, sans sa cape noire, car elle est pendue à un clou du bureau ! Nous venons d’apprendre que ce bureau sera maintenu dans la maison de la Muette à Pully.

A la fin des concerts, on n’offre pas de bouquets de fleurs qui encombrent les bagages, mais un pot de miel d’ici … ou du Bitter Diablerets !
