Visit Saturday, January 31the Vers-l'Église Temple welcomed the Romain Leleu Sextet for an outstanding evening in the 57th season of the Festival Musique & Neige. In an atmosphere both intimate and vibrant, the audience discovered an audacious program, carried by six exceptional musicians.
🎶 Rare training and collective energy
Led by trumpeter Romain Leleu, the sextet offered a concert based on listening, dialogue and musical freedom.

The works of Darius Milhaud and Nino Rota brought singular colors, blending clarity, lyricism and narrative spirit, while forays into jazz and American music - with Cole Porter, Thelonious Monk and Dizzy Gillespie - have opened up the space for improvisation, swing and a resolutely contemporary energy.
This musical journey, free and contrasting, highlighted the natural gateways between styles and eras, illustrating with finesse the idea of a music without borders.
