Biography
One Step Gospel is a Lausanne-based choir of forty talented singers, selected through auditions, who perform a repertoire of contemporary gospel under the direction of Pascal Horecka, a renowned figure on the gospel scene in Switzerland and France.
One Step Gospel places particular emphasis on vocal precision and on upholding its core values: sharing, spirituality, unity, and excellence. Its ambition is to offer audiences vibrant musical performances that combine authenticity and modernity. One Step Gospel loves creating a bond with its audience, sharing intense emotions, and conveying a message of love and hope.
The choir’s experience includes collaborations with renowned artists such as the Golden Gate Quartet and Alvin Slaughter, as well as a second-place award at the CHORUS competition in 2018. One Step Gospel also offers masterclasses to share its passion for gospel with an ever-growing audience.
